Dive into the
beauty of Croatia

The Finca is situated in the village of Brstanovo, a quiet rural area with view over the surrounding untouched nature and the typical Croatian mountains. The holiday accommodation is only 25km away from Split – which will take you around half an hour to get there by car – and is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area of beautiful Dalmatia. If your Mediterranean fantasies feature sunny days by crystal clear waters in the shade of ancient walled towns, Croatia is the place to turn them into reality.

Culture and city trips

Croatia's second-largest city, Split, is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it’s really lived – always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance between tradition and modernity, and offers a beautiful, UNESCO protected old town centre, lots of great restaurants, shops (Outlet Dugopolje with Calzedonia, Nike & Adidas, Mall of Split, City Center Split, local market) and the perfect nightlife scene (like the famous Split Pub Crawl). Step inside Diocletian’s Palace, an Unesco World Heritage site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments, take a walk in the winding alleys of Split’s Old Town, or enjoy a drink and watch people stroll the vivid promenade. Another beautiful city that you can reach in one hour is Trogir, whose historical core got its place on UNESCO's list of world heritage sights because of its beauty and cultural value. Walking through the streets of Trogir is like travelling to the time of Grecians, Romans and Venetians. Sibenik, which is only 70km away from our Finca Dida, is the only city in Croatia with two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, after the inclusion of the spectacular St. Nicholas Fortress last year. If you don't have a problem with traveling a bit longer, you could also visit Zadar (140 km away) or Dubrovnik (250km away), which is known as "the Pearl of the Adriatic".

Nature and islands

If there's one thing that makes Croatia unique, it's the beautiful coastline with more than 1000 islands – it is no secret that Croatia’s Adriatic Sea is among the clearest and cleanest in the world and consistently on tops Europe’s cleanest lists. Split also offers the Adria's largest ferry port, serving the ever-popular islands of Solta, Hvar, Brac, Korcula and Vis – the crystal clear, turquoise water and beautiful bays make the islands of Croatia not only an ideal place for relaxing, but also for kitesurfing or windsurfing. If you’re looking for adventures, the area offers everything one can wish for an active holiday: Within close distance, you can choose whether to go to Omis (49km away) where you can enjoy Rafting, Canyoning, or Zipline, or wander along in one of the eight, spectacular national parks in Croatia, like the Krka Waterfalls (68km away), the national park Paklenica, or the Plitivice Lakes National Park (225km away), an UNESCO World Heritage. Furthermore, at a distance of 10km you will find Klis fortress, the Game of Thrones exterior shot location for the city of Meereen.
